An experimental housing structure, created by a group from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany, uses an unusual transforming layout in order to fit multiple functions in a tiny space. Named Rollit, the cylindrical home combines different activity areas such as a bed, desk and lounge chair within a compact circular space. Users have to walk along a center track to roll each module into position.

Inspired by Brooklyn architecture, Brownstone is the latest release by Alejandro Paul. It features multiple styles, alternates, ligatures and frames. And the specimen, which was written and photographed by Paul’s friend Jon Parker—a Brooklyn resident—is an amazing piece of work in its own right. Just bought it from here.

While utilizing only the edges of paper, Yulia creates gorgeous, colorful and detailed illustrations and typographical compositions. It’s hard to imagine these illustrations being created by hand. I would love to learn more about her process and see how these pieces are set up.
