An experimental housing structure, created by a group from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany, uses an unusual transforming layout in order to fit multiple functions in a tiny space. Named Rollit, the cylindrical home combines different activity areas such as a bed, desk and lounge chair within a compact circular space. Users have to walk along a center track to roll each module into position.
